Half-Day Private Convertible Tour
A slower, more personal Budapest experience with extra time for stories, hidden details, scenic stops, and a relaxed coffee break. Designed for guests who want more depth without spending the whole day touring.
Explore Budapest at a relaxed pace on a private half-day convertible tour designed for guests who want more than a quick city overview.
Your guide will pick you up from your downtown Budapest accommodation, hotel, river ship, or rented apartment. From there, the tour follows a broad route across both Buda and Pest, combining Budapest’s classic landmarks with historic districts, riverside views, elegant boulevards, hidden details, and traces of the city’s past.
Along the way, you will see the Great Market Hall, Gellért Hill and the Citadella, the National Theatre, MÜPA, the Buda-side Danube riverfront, Castle Hill, Matthias Church, Fisherman’s Bastion, Margaret Bridge, the Roman amphitheater ruins, Western Railway Station, Parliament, the Shoes on the Danube Bank, St. Stephen’s Basilica, the Hungarian National Bank, the former Stock Exchange Palace, the Great Synagogue, the Music Academy, the Opera House, Andrássy Avenue, Heroes’ Square, City Park, Széchenyi Thermal Bath, and Stefánia Avenue.
Compared with the shorter tours, this half-day experience gives you more time for context, photos, atmosphere, and flexibility. A coffee break can be included downtown or in City Park, depending on timing and guest preference.
Short photo stops are included where traffic regulations and safe stopping conditions allow. You can also take photos from the car at any point during the tour.
Pickup and drop-off are included in downtown Budapest. The tour can be extended on request, subject to availability, at €20 per additional 15 minutes.
Included: English guidance, private convertible sightseeing, downtown pickup and drop-off, bottled water, blankets, scarves, and caps when needed.
